I liked the indoor pool and spa because it was very relaxing and fun. And I like how there were toys for the pool to keep people entertained. I also liked the gym and breakfast.

Park Lane suites was in a downtown congested area and since we did not want to loose our handicapped parking space, my husband pushed me down a hill in a wheelchair to a restaurant, but there were only two choices nearby the motel and going back up hill was hard on him at age 74.

4 days was enough to hit the highlights but not so long that days seemed to drag at any time. Food was great, wide variety of places to visit and interests represented. I would definitely recommend the Japanese Tea Gardens and Mox Boarding House for the gamer and steam punk fans.

The waterfront area is beautiful.
The waterfront area is beautiful. If you like walking you can get around easily. The tram, ‘Hop’ transport to and from the airport is excellent, really frequent and inexpensive. Portland has a number of lovely places to visit, the History Museum and the Art Museum along with the Arboretum for beautiful walks and a view of Mount Hood. There are lots of different gardens to visit and activities from your hotel doorstep if you want to enjoy coastal tours, wine tours, waterfall tours etc. I had delicious food wherever I went.

I love Portland!
I love Portland! I highly suggest to check it out before believing what other unnecessary BS media put it out there. People are very nice and warm but make sure to blend in as well because you never know who you might encountered with but for millennials out there like me or not (or whatever your age is), i suggest visit Oregon first. LMAO!

Love Portland, Oregon.
Love Portland, Oregon. Always something fun and exciting to do around town, both east and west side and great food to be found in both. On this trip, I discovered the fascinating Chinese Museum located in old China Town district just a block or two away from Saturday Market. Their current exhibit of the rock group The Slants is fascinating and a must see for anyone at all interested in Chinese/Asian-American culture.
On this particular trip except for a couple of days, I eschewed the traditional car rental and made my way around both east and west side of town with public transit. To my surprise, I found it very efficient and affordable!

We spent 4 weeks driving around the US and Canada staying in 14 hotels and this was the best hotel in every respect of the 4 weeks. The junior Suite was exceptionally well equipped, furnished, decorated and the linen etc was superb. We could not find fault with the place and the staff were excellent too - We had three nights here and it was a great location for exploring Portland as we could walk everywhere and the Hotel is adjacent but not in the bustling bar and restaurant area
The location in northern downtown Portland is very good. It is very near Powell's Bookstore, Old Town, Pearl District, etc. Right next door is also a Food Truck Court, nice place to have some food or a beer. The room was clean and big and the cleaning staff were very friendly and efficient! It is a chain, so nothing "out of the ordinary," but the hotel seems to be very well managed/run and the price was very good in comparison to other places in Portland.
Great hotel, not the best location, some homeless and junkies outside unfortunately, but that whole area of Portland is like this now. They’ve got security out front and super friendly staff, stylish amenities, we had a great time there.
The location of this hotel is the best thing about it. Since its just over the bridge you are away from the downtown hustle and bustle but still close enough that you could walk over. There are so many restaurants in the area too!
A great hotel set in Downtown Portland. The rooms were comfortable, everything was clean and the hotel facilities were great. The rooftop bar has great views over the river and across to the mountains.
